Ludslavice lies just under five kilometres southwest of Holešov. It is eleven kilometres east of Kroměříž.

Ludslavice was first mentioned in 1275, and an order restored its original name in 1925. The Church of St Wenceslas dates from 1690 and was rebuilt in 1858.
